If, at arrival at the destination airport, passenger doesn't find the hold baggage, He has  to go immediately to the Lost and Found office and fill in a complaint form (PIR Property Irregularity Report), specifying the luggage size, colour, brand and any other information useful to uniquely identify the lost luggage.

The passenger should also decide if receiving the found baggage via courier or picking it up personally. The Lost and Found Office will immediately start search procedures; sometimes  the Airline could provide a starter kit.

If the luggage is not found within 21 days, the file will be closed and the baggage will considered officially lost.
In this case the passenger can address a complaint to the airline attaching the following items:
  • A detailed list of the items contained in the luggage
  • A copy of their ticket
  • A payment proof of exceeding weight fee (if it is applicable)
  • The baggage tag
  • A copy of the P.I.R.
